Story By Lilah
On Tuesday morning Lilah woke up and told this story to Camille, she aslo told this story to me when I got home Tuesday night laughing throughout the story, getting the biggest kick out of stick falling out of the tree. In true jazz form the story is never told the same way twice but here are the touchstones.
Stick the Turtle thought he was a bat.
He climbed a tree and tried to fly.
But he couldn’t, because he was a turtle.
So he fell into the grass
and sang “I GO”
Here is a video recount from this afternoon, unfortunately Lilah had a case of the hiccups but I still think she has done the story justice.
You’re right – I watched again and that “he’s a turtle” is hilarious – She is so very precious.
